Three cases, in my words
The stories are mine, the words in quotation marks are the client's, and I've added nothing the client didn't say. No figures, no lenders, no addresses.
Starting from nothing
They came to me as first-time buyers who didn't know where to start or what was involved. So we started at the beginning: what a decision in principle is, what a lender looks at, what the money needs to look like, one step at a time and at their pace. When a part didn't land, we went over it again until it did. Then we did the rest.

He spoke at a level we both understood and if we was abit confused on some parts he would take the time and help us understand what was required. I will be recommending to friends or a family member when they decide to buy. As not knowing what support is out there can be abit daunting where to started. So using mortgage advisor bureau is a great start.”
The bit I got wrong, and fixed
Early on, when it was just me, replies sometimes took longer than they should have. One client said so in their review, fairly. I now have an administrator whose job is to keep every case moving and every question answered while I'm in appointments, and the same client noticed the difference. I'd rather show you that review than hide it.
“My MAB liaison was Ethan Mercer. He was very likable and friendly to deal with. He made the process pretty much as painless as it could be. My one small criticism at first was sometimes communication could be an issue. It would take a while to get a reply but we're not his only customer. I should note that since he has taken on some help this has improved significantly and Emma herself was also lovely to deal with. I had no issues recommending Ethan to a friend of mine who was also buying and would happily do so again.”
After the offer
Getting the mortgage offer is the moment most people relax. It's also where things stall: solicitors, enquiries, the lender wanting one more document. This couple dealt with me to application, then my administrator took the day to day, including working out which department at their solicitors they were actually supposed to be talking to.

Really do not know what I would have done without them both, absolute legends .”
